A solo practice built on direct architectural ownership, deep technical range, and operational reality.
Pasan founded Imagine Software Solutions as a one-person practice and has kept it that way on purpose — every engagement is led by him personally, not handed off. Client-facing work runs under the CodeShop name; the technical backbone runs on two frameworks he built himself: CodeShop, an Architect-Led Development methodology, and CodeBase, an AI-powered multi-agent execution engine that lets him build and ship at a pace that would normally take a small team.
He works across Sri Lanka and the UAE, and across a wider range of industries than most solo developers touch — education, hospitality, retail, and services. Outside client work, he personally runs day-to-day operations for a family-owned hotel, which is part of why his systems tend to get built for how a business actually runs, not just how a spec sheet describes it.
Three core principles that separate Architect-Led Development from agency bureaucracy and unmanaged freelancing.
The person who scopes the system is the person who designs the architecture, writes the code, and oversees deployment. No message lost across account managers, project managers, and rotating juniors.
Systems designed around how an actual human uses them day to day under pressure. Having operated a working hotel front desk, Pasan understands how real-world friction breaks theoretical software designs.
Every build ships with comprehensive operating documentation, clear architectural diagrams, and clean specifications. The system remains transparent, maintainable, and completely free of tribal knowledge.
How a single senior architect delivers systems at the velocity and completeness of an enterprise agency.
Architect-Led Development: A strict delivery standard where one senior architect owns the system lifecycle end to end — requirements elicitation, UX/UI architecture, technical architecture, implementation, and handover — pulling in vetted specialist collaborators project-by-project when specialized assets are required.
Multi-Agent Execution Engine: An AI-powered internal execution tool that accelerates code implementation once architecture and patterns are formalized. Enables single-person delivery velocity without team-level communication overhead.
